HC Deb 11 April 1968 vol 762 c291W
16. Rear-Admiral Morgan Giles

asked the Postmaster-General why a parcel posted in Winchester on Wednesday, 28th February, and correctly addressed to Fair Oak, Eastleigh, was not delivered to the addressee until Wednesday, 6th March.

Mr. Mason

I have no record of any incident which might account for such an abnormal delay; but if the hon. and gallant Gentleman would let me know at which office in Wincester the parcel was posted, and to whom it was addressed, I will gladly make further enquiries.
