§ 92. Mr. Edelmanasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will act on Recommendation 500 of the Assembly of the Council of Europe, and seek to expedite its consideration by the Committee of Ministers, in view of the urgency of achieving a common Western policy as a basis for agreement with the developing countries at the forthcoming United Nations Commission for Trade and Development meeting in New Delhi.
§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyConsultation among European and other developed countries with a view to co-ordination of policies on these matters is a regular and continuing concern of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. The meeting at Ministerial level of the Council of the Organisation, which is due to take place on 30th November and 1st December, will be concerned, inter alia, with matters relevant to the forthcoming Conference in New Delhi.
