§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyI am aware that inspectors do not test these meters. The related matter of taximeters was considered by the Committee on Weights and Measures Legislation (Cmnd. 8219), who concluded that they would not be justified in recommending Weights and Measures control for them.
