§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on unidentified flying objects sighted over Great Britain during the past two years.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesFrom 1st January, 1966 to 30th September, 1967, 274 reports were received. 242 reports were found to have mundane explanations. The remaining 37 reports remain unexplained because the information provided was so inadequate that no conclusive investigation was possible. The detailed analysis of these reports against the background of reports since the beginning of 1959 is set out below.
