§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will make a statement on the result of 337W discussions between his Department, the county councils of Inverness and Ross and Cromarty and the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board, with a view to preventing future flooding and certainly to establish effective warning systems; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RossPreliminary work has been done on this subject and a meeting between officers of my Departments and representatives of interested authorities has been arranged for next week.
