§ 50. Mr. Biffenasked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs when he expects to issue a further White Paper outlining the Government's proposed legislation for prices and incomes after the conclusion of the period of severe restraint in mid-1967.

They are at present consulting the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress about the development of an effective prices and incomes policy after the end of severe restraint.
