§ Mr. Taverne:I am taking steps to obtain the information requested in the first two parts of the Question and will write to my hon. Friend as soon as it is available. I accept the view of the Working Party on Police Equipment that complete standardisation is not practicable but studies are being promoted by my Department which may lead to some standardisation for particular purposes.
