HC Deb 26 April 1967 vol 745 cc300-1W
101. Mr. Bryant Godman Irvine

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the camps available in the United Kingdom meet all his requirements for forces returning to this country: and what consideration he has given to the possibility of using the former Royal Air Force camp at Wartling as a military transit camp.

Mr. Reynolds

I would refer the hon. Gentleman to the Answer that my hon. Friend gave to the hon. Member for Stroud (Mr. Kershaw) on 12th April. The former Royal Air Force camp at Wartling is not suitable for this purpose.—[Vol. 744, c. 189.]
