§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to announce his decisions on ways to promote a closer relationship between universities' science and research organisations as a result of the Sutherland Committee Report.
§ Mr. CroslandI welcome the Sutherland Report and am considering with my colleagues concerned how the valuable practices which this working Party has studied can be further developed within the fields of Government research. So far as the universities are concerned, I am commending the Report to the University 251W Grants Committee and seeking their advice.
