§ Mr. Onslowasked the Minister of Technology what increase or decrease there has been in the staff of his Department since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease he anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1967.
§ Mr. BennThere has been an increase of staff in my Department of 30,561 between 16th October, 1964 and 1st April, 1967, which includes branches transferred from other departments including 29,785 transferred from the former Ministry of Aviation. I anticipate a further increase of approximately 250 by October, 1967.
