HC Deb 11 April 1967 vol 744 c158W
59. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received from the Ghana Government about mandatory sanctions against Rhodesia and on the time limit set in H.M.S. "Tiger", and also of that Government's policy on Rhodesia's remaining within the Commonwealth; and whether he will consult with the Ghanaian and other African Commonwealth governments on the achievement of a peaceful solution of the Rhodesian problem.

Mr. Bowden

As my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister said in answer to the hon. Member's Question of 9th March, communications with Commonwealth Governments are confidential. The British Government remain in close touch with other Commonwealth countries.—[Vol. 742, c.342.]
