§ 74. Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give the approximate footage of office premises occupied by his Department in London and the annual cost of renting or owning them; how these figures compare with the previous year; and what economies he proposes to make.
§ Mr. HealeyMy Department occupies about 2,076,000 square feet of office space in central London for which the annual rent, and notional annual cost of Crown properties, is £1,703,000. A year ago the figures were about 2,079,000 square feet and £1,609,000.
