§ Mr. AlbuThe Government's prices and incomes policy as set out in Cmnd. 2639 has the active support of the Trades Union Congress and numerous union conferences held recently have confirmed their support.
My right hon. Friend will shortly be introducing legislation designed to strengthen the application of the voluntary policy for both prices and incomes and to make it more effective.
