§ 67. Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Health if he will discuss with local authorities and the various voluntary organisations concerned the need for 139W specially trained teachers to assist in the training of mentally handicapped children of comparatively high intelligence who are not considered suitable for admission to schools for the educationally subnormal.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe courses approved by the Training Council for Teachers of the Mentally Handicapped are already training the staff of local health authority training centres and hospital schools to deal with the whole range of mentally subnormal children who are unsuitable for education at school.
