§ 47. Mr. Barnettasked the Minister of of Transport if she will now announce her decision on the proposed closure of the Oldham-Rochdale railway line and the stations at Royton, Crompton and Milnrow, in view of the number of new housing estates going up in the latter areas.
§ Mr. John MorrisMy right hon. Friend is awaiting further information from the Railways Board about alternative services. She will announce her decision as soon as possible after receiving it.
Consent to the closure of Royton station was given by her predecessor on 22nd December.
