Mr. Rankinasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will introduce legislation to facilitate voluntary rationalisation of milk distribution rounds in order to encourage efficient use of labour, by removing the inhibiting effect of the Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1956, under which such agreements have been banned, in view of the fact that milk prices are Government controlled.
