asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if it is his intention to authorise fabricators in the United Kingdom to pay transit dues to Rhodesian Railways in respect of consignments of copper from Zambia conveyed across Rhodesia by their railway system.

Under present Exchange Control rules, such payments are permitted in sterling to Rhodesian sterling account.
