§ 88. Mr. Liptonasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether, in view of the fact that 100 soldiers are looking after 300 privately-owned horses and polo ponies in the United Kingdom, he will, for the sake of economy and the better use of military manpower, transfer those soldiers to more essential duties.
§ Mr. ReynoldsThe rules prescribe that soldiers who wish to do this kind of work also remain available for military duty.
