§ 50. Mr. Bessellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will make a statement about the representations he has received from the owners of holiday flats and houses who have been unable to obtain vacant possession from winter tenants as a result of recent legislation.
§ Mr. CrossmanTwo cases have been reported to me since 1st March of tenants refusing to leave holiday accommodation. In both cases the landlords were advised to apply for a court order.
§ 51. Mr. Bessellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will estimate how many owners of holiday flats and houses were unable to obtain vacant possession from winter tenants for their summer guests at 30th June, 1966.
§ Mr. CrossmanInformation is not available on which such an estimate could be based, but I have no reason to believe that the number is anything but very small.
