asked the Minister of Labour if he will make a statement on the coml. of inquiry which he appointed to inquire into the causes and circumstances of the dispute about the opera- tion of fork lift trucks at Tyne Dock and the Albert Edward Dock, North Shields.

The report of the Court of Inquiry is being published this afternoon and copies are available in the Vote Office. Officers of my Department are holding a meeting today with representatives of the organisations concerned to discuss how progress can be made towards a settlement in the light of the recommendations in the report.
