§ Mr. PrenticeThe Report of the Committee on Higher Education contained 125W 178 recommendations variously addressed to one or more of the following: the Government, the University Grants Committee, the universities, the schools and other responsible bodies. I cannot answer the hon. Member's Question in the precise terms in which he put it, but I can assure him that the Government have, or will shortly have taken decisions on all the major recommendations addressed to them and that most will be found to have accorded with what the Committee recommended.
