asked the Minister of Transport how much timber was imported into British docks for each of the years 1962 to 1965; and what proportion was transported after unloading by road services and rail services for each of these years.

Estimated figures for 1962, 1963 and 1964 are 5.2 million tons, 5.6 million tons and 6.8 million tons respectively. No figures for 1965 are yet available. The information asked for in the second part of the Question is not available.
