§ 61. Sir B. Jannerasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will provide particulars of those forthcoming international conferences and congresses to be held in this country during the next three years of which he has official cognisance, indicating in each case what assistance is to be given by Her Majesty's Government.
§ Mr. MasonGenerally speaking, my right hon. Friend has no official cognisance of forthcoming conferences to be held in Britain except where the Board of Trade are taking part or are involved in the preparatory work. In the case of inter-Governmental conferences my right hon. Friends the Foreign Secretary and the Minister of Public Building and Works will normally have to arrange the necessary facilities.
