asked the President of the Board of Trade to what extent it is his policy to encourage the establishment of light industry in the Okehampton area.

Our first priority in the provision of new industry is for the development districts. Subject to this, I am prepared to consider sympathetically i.d.c. applications for projects suited to the resources of the Okehampton area.
