§ Sir F. SoskiceThe Commissioner of Police informs me that during the years 1961–64 inclusive the proportion of indictable offences involving the use of firearms known to the police in the Metropolitan Police District in which shotguns were used was 11 per cent., 6 per cent., 7 per cent., and 26 per cent. respectively.
Information for the rest of the country is not available, but I am taking steps to obtain it.
