Mr. Wall

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science in respect of each of the countries of Western Europe, of the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Eire and South Africa, what information he has from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation about the proportion of the total cost of non-independent primary and secondary schooling which is met by national taxation, local authority taxation, and direct contributions, respectively.
