§ Mr. Nobleasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give an assurance that there will be no cut back in capital investment or deferment of expenditure on the University of Strathclyde as a result of the recent economic measures.
§ Mr. CroslandThis university is in a development district and is therefore exempted from the measures recently announced by my right hon. Friend, the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Its development will not be affected in any way.
