Mr. Rhodes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many of the 364 applicants for the administrative and executive branches of the Foreign and Commonwealth Relations Services from the universities of Newcastle, Durham, Leeds, Sheffield, and Manchester between 1960 and 1964, 362 of whom were unsuccessful, were in possession of first and second class honours degrees, respectively; and how many had previously attended a Headmasters' Conference school.
