HC Deb 26 April 1965 vol 711 c10W
49. Mr. Carmichael

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is satisfied with the opportunities for pre-apprenticeship training in the Glasgow area; what plans he has for an increase in places at pre-training school; and if he will make a statement.

Dr. Dickson Mabon

My right hon. Friend understands that the number of places at present available in these courses is sufficient to provide for all the students considered suitable for admission. If at any time the education authority feels that there is a demand for further courses of this kind, my right hon. Friend will be ready to consider any proposals put forward by the authority.
