The byelaw under which trawling for prawns is permitted, subject to certain conditions, in

part of the Firth of Forth expires in July this year. The Fishermen's Association has asked that the area in which prawn trawling is allowed should be extended when the byelaw is renewed. My right hon. Friend is considering these representations and hopes to reach a decision shortly.
