§ Mr. ChatawayI understand that 43 schools in the area have most of their lavatories out of doors. The lavatories at 34 schools have been modernised within the last ten years and those at 7 more schools will be dealt with in 1964–65.

Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he is aware of local concern following his decisions on the curtailment or rejection of education estimates and plans affecting schoolchildren in the present borough of Leyton; what representations he received; and what reply he has sent.
