§ 55. Mr. Gardnerasked the Minister of Transport what decision has been reached on the proposals put to his Department by the Billericay Residents Association concerning the speed limit on the A.129 Southend Road, at South Green, Billericay.
§ Mr. MarplesIn addition to the proposals of the Billericay Residents Association, I am considering proposals 229W made by the Basildon Urban District Council and by my own traffic engineers. A detailed investigation of conditions has been necessary. I shall shortly be giving public notice of my intention to make an order. I shall not reach a decision until I have considered any representations that may be made.
