§ 40. Mr. E. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many new schools were built and how many new school places were provided in the Blackley Parliamentary Division of Manchester between 1945 and 1951, between 1951 and 1959, and from 1959 to the latest convenient date.
§ Mr. HoggAt 31st March, 1964, 911 major primary and secondary school projects were under construction in England and 47 in Wales, at a total cost of about £137 million. When completed they will provide 382,000 new school places.
