§ 76. Mr. K. Robinsonasked the Minister of Health what estimate he has made of the annual cost to the National Health Service of increasing from three years to four the period in which new research-based drugs are free of all price control, as provided in the Voluntary Price Regulation Scheme just agreed.
§ Mr. BarberThe extension of the free period from three years to four years for new research-based drugs is offset by the reduction of that period for other products and I have no reason to suppose that any significant extra cost will be incurred.
