§ Mr. Merlyn Reesasked the Minister of Education if, in the light of the recommendations of the Newsom Report and the social needs of the area concerned, he will now allow the full plans for the Lingwell County Secondary School, Leeds, to be included in the 1964–65 building programme.
§ Sir E. BoyleThe new school already included in the 1964–65 school building programme will both complete reorganisation of all age schools in South Leeds and improve conditions in existing secondary schools. I cannot approve an increase in the size of the project at this stage. I have already added one project to the Leeds programme as originally announced.
