§ Mr. W. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the military impracticability and the political dangers inherent in the concept of a mixed-manned nuclear force, he will announce the immediate withdrawal of Her Majesty's Government from discussions about this proposal.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerNo. As I said in the debate on the Address on 15th November we are not in any way committed to participate in a mixed-manned force. What we have done is to agree to take part in an objective examination of the project in all its aspects and possible variations.
