§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if, in view of the fact that Swedish consultants have been employed 129W on the specifications of the turbines and alternators for the Fort William Pulp and Paper Mill, and that this equipment has been ordered from a Swedish manufacturer, he will make it a condition of further loans to Wiggins Teape that his consent shall be obtained by the company before it employs foreign consultants or place orders in foreign countries.
§ Mr. D. PriceNo; my right hon. Friend is satisfied that Wiggins Teape have had the greatest practicable regard to the use of British equipment at Fort William. He has no wish to attempt to add further conditions of the kind proposed to the agreement which has already been made with them.
