§ Mr. Warbeyasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if he will publish the information in his possession showing to what extent United Kingdom trade with the Commonwealth has suffered over the last ten years as a result of the United States of America, West Germany, the Netherlands, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Czechoslovakia and other exporters of manufactured products gaining access to traditional British markets by means of tied loans and long-term credits.
§ Mr. du CannMy right hon. Friend has no information to show the extent to which British trade with Commonwealth countries may have suffered because of tied aid or long-term credits accorded to them by other countries.
