§ Mr. Callaghanasked the Minister of Transport what conclusions he has reached about the proposed closures of the Cardiff (General) to Cardiff Docks (Clarence Road) and the Cardiff to Coryton lines in view of the report by the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for Wales and Monmouthshire that there would be an increase in traffic congestion with resultant hardship not only to displaced rail passengers but to other road users.
§ Mr. MarplesI have not yet reached a decision on these two cases.
