§ Lord Balnielasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science when he expects to receive the report of the Medical Research Council concerning the causes and treatment of bronchitis.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe Medical Research Council supports a very considerable amount of research relevant to lung diseases, some of which is specifically directed to bronchitis. This is a continuing activity of the Council and it is not envisaged that a special report on the subject will be prepared and published. The results of the various researches in hand will be published, as they become available, in the scientific journals in the normal way. The research programmes of the various units concerned are listed in the Council's Annual Reports.
