§ 44. Mr. Brewisasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to complete payment of Hill Cow Subsidy due for the last financial year and what is the reason for delay.
§ Mr. Brooman-WhitePayments for the Scheme year ended 3rd December, 1962, should be virtually completed in the next two or three weeks. Up to 31st January, some 12,000 applications out of a total of about 13.000 had been cleared for payment. In general payments have been made rather more quickly this year than last year.
