HC Deb 04 December 1963 vol 685 cc174-5W
9. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the public anxiety in Cardiff concerning the danger to children who have to walk along Pwllmelin Road, Llandaff, in order to get to the Bishop of Llandaff Church in Wales School; and whether he will now sanction the Pwllmelin Road improvement scheme suggested by the Cardiff City Council.

Mr. Galbraith

We are well aware of the conditions on this road, and have advised the City Council, who are the highway authority, that if they will submit their proposals we will consider whether a grant can be made towards the cost.
