§ Mr. GalbraithThe Road Research Laboratory have made some observations on the effect of weather conditions, including wind, on motorway traffic behaviour, and have studied German work on this problem. Crosswinds can be a hazard on motorways and other high speed roads in open country. We must rely on the driver to adjust his technique to the prevailing conditions.
