§ Mr. Haleasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what regulations he proposes to make to prevent such events as those occurring in the case of a seriously disabled Chadderton octogenarian, whose wife's allowance of 25s. a week has been disallowed and to whom a claim for repayment of £10 10s. 0d. made on the ground that the wife's earnings exceeded the maximum by 6d. per week.
