asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what will be the estimated expenditure on the road programme for the financial year 1967–68.

The roads programme is necessarily flexible, and it would therefore be misleading to publish estimates of expenditure for individual years further ahead than those given in the White Paper on Public Investment.
