HC Deb 04 July 1962 vol 662 c39W
35. Mr. Costain

asked the Minister of Transport if he is satisfied that at all terminal points in the United Kingdom where tankers unload, efficient facilities are available for ships to clean out their tanks; and if he will make a statement.

Vice-Admiral Hughes Hallett

Facilities are adequate at oil terminals in the United Kingdom for tankers requiring to clean out their tanks. They are provided by the oil companies, ship repairers and port authorities, and they are fully equal to the best provided in other countries.
