§ Mr. Denis Howellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will institute inquiries with a view to legislation to provide for a different system of 120W rating than the present system of rateable values which increases the burden upon house owners and occupiers; and if, in particular, he will examine the possibilities of a local income tax whereby all members of the community shall share this burden.
