HC Deb 20 February 1962 vol 654 c32W
Mr. Brewis

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs approximately how many houses have been erected by housing associations in the last fifteen years in the United Kingdom; and how many of these were in Scotland.

Dr. Hill

I understand that during this period housing associations in the United Kingdom built approximately 48,750 houses, of which 1,614 were in Scotland. These figures exclude houses built by the Scottish Special Housing Association and the Northern Ireland Housing Trust.
