Mr. Milneasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what amounts were on loan to Blyth Borough Council, Bedlington Urban District Council and Seaton Valley Urban District Council in 1951 and at the latest convenient date; and what would be the annual repayment charges in each of these years, based on repayment spread over 60 years.
Dr. HillI do not have completely detailed information about the outstanding debt of particular authorities. This can be obtained from the authorities, and I am sure that any authority would supply the information in response to a request by an hon. Member.
As regards the second part of the Question this is so unrealistic in assuming that the whole debt is all newly borrowed and all for 60 years that I should not feel justified in asking for the calculation to be made.
