MacphersonThere are about 4,000 jobs now in prospect in Glasgow, of which about 1,600 will arise from projects for which industrial development certificates were issued or assistance offered under the Local Employment Act during 1961. All the jobs now in prospect are expected to arise within the next five years and most within the next three.
